I haven't blogged for ages so I thought I best write so everyone knows I'm still alive lol. Had a few good weeks, lost 2 lots of 3lbs, then out 1.5lbs on and have lost 1lb this week. I've been doing a lot of gym and other exercise using my exercise plan that I have written in big bold letters in my diary so I'm not likely to plan something else when I supposed to be exercising.
I've also signed up for Race for Life in June and I cant believe I'm actually going to do it. I'mnot really supposed to run due me suffering badly in my hips when I do, so I'm going to prctise walking and jogging it to try and get round a little bit quicker. I've been walking the full 5km on a regular basis on the treadmill and at the moment I am managing it in 50minutes. I'd like to improve on that next week and knock 5 minutes off my time, I will do this on the treadmill by speeding up the pace as at the moment it doe feel like a nice liesurely stroll.
I've also been doing really well food-wise, as I've been going to the gym straight after work, I've been eating my tea leter on in the evening, I've been eating much smaller meals and so have been able to save between 2 and 4 points per day for a treat, last weekend I had a steak in a restaurant with my saved points.
i had a nice NSV today when I saw someone I used to work with and she said I looked great and she could tell thet I'd lost weight. It really made my day today ... well that and the fact that it was my last day at a job that I hate!! New job on Monday, but a nice relaxing long weekend to look forward to beforehand.
